What is the secret? The secret is basically a new branding for old ideas. Specifically the idea that you always get in life more of what you’re thinking of. Meaning that if you think negative thoughts you attract negative events, if however you think positive thoughts you attract positive events.

The secret works. It always works because it’s a universal law. In the bible it’s written “Let us make man in our image” -- meaning god created us with his power, the power to create.

In physics there is a principle called resonance. An example of this principle is when there are two pianos in a room and the first one is played it will force the second piano to play the same notes. Our thoughts are waves and just like playing the piano creates waves that influence the second piano, our thoughts influence the fabric of the universe.

We have thousands of thoughts every day and some of them are conflicting. If every thought creates the reality around us then that means that the reality is constantly changing. The dominant reality depends on our dominant thoughts.

So what determines our dominant thoughts? Our programming of course. programming is a term used for computers it means the code inserted to make the computer work in a certain way. As corny as it sounds our brain is like a computer and the code are beliefs that we got from our parents. Our beliefs cause us to act in a certain way just like programming to a computer.

This programing can be changed and I already wrote about it here. Our beliefs create our emotions which in turn influence our actions and that creates our reality.
