<h4>What do you want?</h4>
<p>If you’re like most people, you want to be happy, fulfilled, healthy, wealthy and you want to be at peace, free to live your life the way you want to live it.<br />
<h4>The question is how?</h4>
<p>The answer is your beliefs. Simply put, as you believe, so shall you be! The <a href="http://www.superenlightme.com/the-secret-exposed" title="Law of Attraction" target="_blank">Law of Attraction</a> states that thoughts become things. What you think about, you bring about. Your thoughts create your reality.
<p>
According to Jane Roberts, an American author,</p>
<blockquote><p>“You are given the gifts of the gods; you create your reality<br />
according to your beliefs. Yours is the creative energy that<br />
makes your world. There are no limitations to the self except<br />
those you believe in.”</p></blockquote>
<p>Therefore whatever you put energy into strong enough, clear enough and with enough belief will indeed happen. Here is the critical part. Many, many people are living lives that are far less than their heart’s desires because of what’s going on unconsciously.
<p> In other words, their unconscious, negative beliefs about themselves and their world are what they are manifesting. Remember this.<br />
<h4>The unconscious wins every time.</h4>
<p> Why? Because it’s sending out stronger messages over and over. The Universe gives you what you ask for whether you’re conscious of it or not. So, if consciously you say you want to be wealthy, but unconsciously you don’t believe you deserve it, you won’t have wealth
<p>So, to live the life you really want, you must first uncover your unconscious beliefs and then question your conscious ones. The reason is simple. It’s not what you know about your life that runs it, it’s what you don’t know and you can’t change what you don’t know. <strong>But you can change what you do know.</strong>
<p>Then, you have to believe you can have that life. You have to believe that you deserve that life. You have to believe that you are good enough. You have to believe that you will succeed. You have to believe in yourself, wholly, completely and beyond a shred of doubt.<br />
<h4>Here’s why.</h4>
<p>Since your beliefs run your life (whether you know what they are or not), it stands to reason that If you’re not living the life you want, then you need to examine the things you believe and then test their validity against reality. For example, a common misbelief (but a belief nonetheless) that people have is that they are not good enough.
<p> To test that belief (if you have it) ask yourself this question, “Who or what am I not good enough for?” In other words, who or what are you comparing yourself to that you believe you are not good enough? What is your standard of measurement?
<p>Do that with as many of your “negative beliefs” as you can and watch how fast things will start to change for the better in your life.
<p>
The reason that its true is that when you discover a false belief, and see it for the lie that it is, it loses all its power. It simply can’t hold up under the light because there’s nothing to it in the first place. It just appears real in your mind.
<p>Take it slow in the beginning. You may get anxious and want to get rid of all of your beliefs that have not served you right away, but that won’t work. In fact, it will have the opposite effect.

Stop for a moment and think about it, did they point a gun to your head and forced you to feel something? <strong>The truth is we and no one else are responsible for our emotions.</strong>
<p> Have you ever felt great even though something you consider negative happened? For instance maybe it was raining and you were all soaked and you still smiled and enjoyed the moment, or maybe something you consider good happened and you still felt bad. These examples show us that we can choose our emotions and we don&#8217;t have to react to the situation or to the others.<br />
<h3>Change your negative emotions into positive emotions</h3>
<p>Usually our decision to feel a certain emotion is unconscious but it doesn&#8217;t have to be that way. At first you&#8217;ll notice your emotions only after you feel them. <strong>Start by accepting your emotions and take full responsibility for them, you can&#8217;t change something until you accept it</strong>.
<p> <strong>Think about the positive <a href="http://eqi.org/emotions.htm#Importance%20of%20emotions">intent</a> of the feeling</strong>. E.g. Perhaps the fear helps saving your life or gives you a feeling of safety. If you don&#8217;t know what the intent is you can use the <a href="http://www.superenlightme.com/how-to-lose-weight-without-a-diet#Six Step Reframing">Six-Step Reframing</a> technique to find the positive intentions and to find alternative ways to accomplish your positive function.
<p><strong>Permit yourself to feel sad, frightened, angry or any emotion you consider negative. Explain yourself that it&#8217;s ok to feel that way and distinguish between the emotion and yourself</strong>. If you <strong>feel</strong> angry it doesn&#8217;t mean that&nbsp;  <strong>  you&#8217;re</strong> an angry person and if you <strong>feel</strong> scared it doesn&#8217;t mean <strong>you&#8217;re</strong> a coward. <strong>
<p>Don&#8217;t try to block the emotion, instead let yourself feel it as much as you can. If you&#8217;ll stay with the emotion you&#8217;ll find peace.</strong> Notice if you&#8217;ve unpleasant feelings in the body every time you feel the emotion, if you do ask yourself what emotion lays underneath the first emotion and let yourself feel it. Keep doing it until you feel all the emotions.
<p>After you felt the emotions, if you still feel a negative emotion in your body, you can breathe through your mouth and direct the breathing to the discomfort area in your body. If you don&#8217;t feel a discomfort in the body you can direct the breathing to your heart. All of our feelings are filtered through the heart. The breathing should be deep and slow. After a few minutes you&#8217;ll feel relieved.
<p> Realize that you don&#8217;t feel that way all day long, there are times when you feel great. Think about all the instances when you felt bad, what do they all have in common? In most cases you&#8217;ll find that it&#8217;s related to a few areas in your life that require your attention. It can be areas like self acceptance and love, making independent decisions, loneliness and so on. These areas are related to limiting <a href="http://www.superenlightme.com/how-to-integrate-new-joyful-beliefs-into-your-life" title="beliefs" target="_blank">beliefs</a>. <strong>Talk to someone about the things that bother you</strong>. It&#8217;s best to talk to a professional but your friends and family can help too.
<p>
<strong>Think about all the times you felt great</strong>. Remember what it was like to feel the emotions, remember the things you saw, heard, smelled and so on. Make a vivid image of the good times you had, make the colors of the image bright and sharp. Make the image bigger and bigger and notice how you feel about it. Play with it until you feel wonderful. Our thoughts influence our emotions, If you have a negative sentence that you keep repeating in your mind simply replace it with something short and positive.            </p>

<h3>The psychological aspect</h3>
<p>There are hundreds of books about weight loss and dozens of diets, and yet people keep searching for that ultimate diet. The one that will actually work. <strong>The problem with diets is that they focus only on the physical aspect and you can&#8217;t diet forever. Once you quit you gain the weight back and often even more than before</strong>.
<p>
So what works? The answer is changing your life style. It works because it&#8217;s <strong>permanent</strong>. Before changing your life style, it&#8217;s important to understand why you chose it in the first place. I&#8217;ll give you a couple examples:
<p><span class="dro">1</span> Mary was molested when she was a teenager and ever since she thought that being attractive is dangerous and therefore she gained weight to protect herself. Usually such thoughts are unconscious meaning she isn&#8217;t even aware she thinks them. To change her behavior she will need to change her beliefs.
<p><span class="dro">2</span> When John was little his mom offered him cookies every time he felt sad. With time John linked pleasure to eating and ate every time he felt sad or depressed to comfort himself, often regardless of his actual hunger. In many similar cases a vicious cycle is created. People feel bad because they&#8217;re obese so they eat to feel better; and the cycle is perpetuated.
<p>
<strong>These examples illustrate that it&#8217;s vital to understand the psychological reasons in order to successfully lose weight. </strong> It&#8217;s also important to understand your rules and their hierarchy.
<p>Each of us has rules like <strong>I have</strong> to be nice to people, or I <strong>should</strong> clean the apartment once a week. The difference between should and have to rules are that should are rules that you prefer to do but you don&#8217;t link pain to not doing them, and have to are rules that you feel obligated to do because otherwise you&#8217;ll feel pain.
<p> One of the differences between obese and slim people are their rules. often slim people have a big list of I have to rules like: I have to exercise four times in a week, I have to eat healthy, I can&#8217;t smoke, I can&#8217;t use drugs, etc and a short list of I should rules.
<p> Obese people on the other hand have a long list of I should rules: I should exercise,eat healthy and so on, and a short list of I have to rules like: I have to eat, sleep eight hours, and so on. <strong>If you want to lose weight you have to make it a priority, change your I should to I have to rules</strong>. This will not mean that you&#8217;ll do something against your will, it just means that you&#8217;ll make it a <strong>high priority</strong> because you&#8217;ll understand that the current condition <strong>can&#8217;t</strong> last.<br />
<h4>Using NLP to lose weight</h4>
<p>Lets say you have two conflicting parts. A part that wants to lose weight, we&#8217;ll call it part X and a part that sabotages part X, we&#8217;ll call it part Y. What we want to do is to establish a communication between the parts and to reach a mutual agreement.
<p> The following techniques are from a book called <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Reframing-Neuro-Linguistic-Programming-Transformation-Meaning/dp/0911226257">Reframing : neuro-linguistic programming and the transformation of meaning</a> by <a href="http://www.richardbandler.com/">Richard Bandler</a> and <a href="http://www.johngrinder.com/">John Grinder</a>.After reading them choose the appropriate one and <strong>do</strong> it. It won&#8217;t help if you just read it.
<p>
These techniques include the term <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reframing">reframing</a> which I want to explain first: Just like when you change the frame of a picture and suddenly everything fits and the picture looks great, Reframing in NLP means to view a situation from a different perspective. This is done to to help accept the situation and deal with it better.<br />
<h5> Negotiating between parts</h5>
<div class="nice">
1) Ask the part that is being interrupted (part X) the following questions:
<p>
a) What is your positive function?
<p>
b) Which part(s) is (are) interrupting you? (part Y)
<p>
2) Ask the same questions of part Y:
<p>
a) What is your positive function?
<p>
b) Does X ever interfere with your function?
<p>
3) If both parts interrupt each other at times, you are now ready to<br />
negotiate an agreement. (If not, this model is not appropriate, so<br />
switch to another reframing model. If Y interferes with X, but X<br />
doesn&#8217;t interfere with Y, six-step reframing with Y may be most<br />
appropriate.)
<p>
a) Ask Y if its function is important enough that Y would be willing<br />
to not interrupt X so that it could receive the same treatment in return.
<p>
b) Ask X if it was not interrupted by Y, would it be willing to not interrupt Y?
<p>
4) Ask each part if it will actually agree to do the above for a specified<br />
amount of time. If either part becomes dissatisfied for any reason, it<br />
is to signal the person that there is a need to renegotiate.
<p>
5) Ecological check: &#8220;Are there any other parts involved in this?&#8221; &#8220;Are<br />
there any other parts that interrupt this part, or that utilize these<br />
interruptions?&#8221; If so, renegotiate.</p></div>
<p><h5><a name="Six Step Reframing">Six Step Reframing</a></h5>
<div class="nice">
1) Identify the pattern (X) to be changed. &#8220;I want to stop X&#8217;ing but I<br />
can&#8217;t,&#8221; or &#8220;I want to Y, but something stops me.&#8221;
<p>
2) Establish communication with the part responsible for the pattern.
<p>
a) &#8220;Will the part of me that makes me X communicate with me in<br />
consciousness?&#8221; Pay attention to any feelings, images, or sounds that occur in response to asking that question internally.
<p>
b) Establish the &#8220;yes/no&#8221; meaning of the signal. Have it increase in brightness, volume, or intensity for &#8220;yes,&#8221; and decrease for &#8220;no.&#8221;
<p>
3) Separate the behavior, pattern X, from the positive intention of the<br />
part that is responsible for X. The unwanted behavior is only a way to achieve some positive function.
<p>
a) Ask the part that runs X &#8220;Would you be willing to let me know in consciousness what you are trying to do for me by Pattern X?&#8221;
<p>
b) If you get a &#8220;yes&#8221; response, ask the part to go ahead and communicate its intention. If you get a &#8220;no&#8221; response, proceed with<br />
unconscious reframing, presupposing positive intention.
<p>
c) Is that intention acceptable to consciousness? Do you want to<br />
have a part of you which fulfills that function?
<p>
d) Ask the part that runs X &#8220;If there were ways to accomplish your positive function that would work as well as, or better than X, would you be interested in trying them out?&#8221;
<p>
4) Access a creative part, and generate new behaviors to accomplish<br />
the positive function.
<p>
a) Access experiences of creativity and anchor them, or ask &#8220;Are<br />
you aware of a creative part of yourself?&#8221;
<p>
b) Have the part that runs X communicate its positive function to<br />
the creative part, allow the creative part to generate more choices to accomplish that function, and have the part that used to run X select three choices that are at least as good or better than X. Have it give a &#8220;yes&#8221; signal each time it selects such an alternative.
<p>
5) Ask the part &#8220;Are you willing to take responsibility for using the<br />
three new alternatives in the appropriate context?&#8221; This provides a<br />
future-pace. In addition you can ask the part at the unconscious<br />
level to identify the sensory cues that will trigger the new choices,<br />
and to experience fully what it&#8217;s like to have those sensory cues<br />
effortlessly and automatically bring on one of the new choices.
<p>
6) Ecological Check. &#8220;Is there any part of me that objects to any of the three new alternatives?&#8221; If there is a &#8220;yes&#8221; response, recycle to step 2 above.</p></div>

<h3>The physical aspect</h3>
<p> <strong>It&#8217;s important to understand that the changes I offer are for life, it&#8217;s not a diet</strong>. As you know changing your psychology isn&#8217;t enough. <strong>To lose weight you have to eat less calories than the body consumes</strong>. To do so you&#8217;ll <strong>have to</strong> do two things: <strong>cut back on your calories and exercise</strong>.<br />
<h4>Eat healthy</h4>
<p>The easiest way to cut back on your calories is to eat less fat. <strong>Don&#8217;t eat</strong>: butter, milk with high percentages of fat, gravy for salads. <strong>Eat</strong>: lean meat, lean chicken (without the skin) and vital fats like: avocado, salmon and almonds. Of course in the right amount.
<p> Although controlling your calories is essential it&#8217;s not enough, it&#8217;s equally important to control your hormones. The hormones manage the body&#8217;s metabolism. Repressing the hormones that are responsible for fat accumulation will result in a large quantity of fats that can be burn in activity.
<p>To effectively manage your hormones you need to manage your Carbohydrates, because consuming carbohydrates elevates the levels of insulin in the body. Insulin is a hormone that interferes with decomposition of fats. Not all the carbohydrates are the same. Simple carbohydrates like the ones in white bread, white rice, potatoes and some cereals elevate the insulin very fast and therefore should be avoided. On the other hand complex carbohydrates like the ones in whole wheat bread, oats, yam and beans should be in your daily menu.
<p> Calories and hormones determine whether the nutrition will be used to build muscles or to build fat, While the number of meals during the day affects the general metabolism. Every time you eat the metabolism increases slightly. If you&#8217;ll eat six times in a day your metabolism will increase six times.
<p> It&#8217;s a way to lose weight without eating less. It doesn&#8217;t mean that you need to eat more, on the contrary you will need to eat less in each meal and chew slowly because it takes approximately twenty minutes before the brain signals the body that you&#8217;re full.
<p>

<h4>Exercise</h4>
<p><strong>Do aerobics</strong> (exercises for improving the body&#8217;s oxygen intake ). Aerobics include running, swimming, dancing, walking fast, yoga and so on. To produce a benefit, aerobic training must raise the heart rate (pulse) to the exerciser&#8217;s target level for at least 20 minutes and include at least three sessions a week.
<p> Aerobics has three benefits: it improves your cardiovascular fitness, it burns calories and it influences your hormones. Aerobics elevates the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norepinephrine">norepinephrine  </a>hormone that helps burn fats. it&#8217;s best to do aerobics in the morning before eating breakfast for an hour max.
<p>Do <a href="http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/fitness_articles.asp?id=1035"><strong>anaerobic exercise</strong></a> (exercise intense enough to trigger anaerobic metabolism). Anaerobic exercise includes: heavy weight-lifting, all types of sprints (running, biking, etc.), jumping rope, hill climbing, interval training, isometrics, or any rapid burst of hard exercise.
<p> Besides making you stronger and improving your cardiovascular fitness it will improve your metabolism and stamina. To lose weight a good combination would be to do aerobics four times in a week and Anaerobic exercise twice in a week. </p>

Every day there is at least one thing you can do for yourself that will improve your life. These are the inches he talks about. Every little change we implement can dramatically change our life over time.

<span class="dro">2</span><strong>Utilize <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaizen">Kaizen</a></strong>. Kaizen (from Japanese) means continuous improvement throughout all aspects of life. The Japanese know that <strong>daily activity</strong> no matter how small can make a difference and ultimately create the desired outcome. Toyota is one of the companies that uses Kaizen to improve their business.<br />

<p> There are four main areas where you can focus: relationships, health, work and wealth,spirituality and personal growth. <strong>These areas are overlapping and as you&#8217;ll improve your skill in one of them you&#8217;ll see that the other areas are improving as well</strong>. All you need is a strong enough decision to change your life. Even if your life is great you can always improve and see that there is more.
<p>
<span class="dropcap3">3</span><strong>Understand how you operate.</strong> According to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuro-linguistic_programming">NLP</a> we use three Representational systems: auditory ,visual and kinesthetic i.e. feelings. <strong>Every</strong> experience you have is processed by these systems. It easy to know which one you use at any given moment by looking at your eyes.

These standard eye directions will usually apply in the case of normally organized right-handed people. However People differ and not everyone will have the same pattern. By asking questions you can easily know their eye movement pattern.
<p>
 To check for VC ask imaginary questions like how would you look like with a purple hair.<br />
VR- How many traffic lights do you pass on the way to work?<br />
AC- What voice would an alien have if he talked to you?<br />

So how can this help you? Well besides knowing when someone is lying (you ask a question their eyes move to the left meaning they are constructing an image or a sound) you can understand how you operate.
<p> If for example you&#8217;re afraid of swimming then every time you&#8217;re near a pool you&#8217;re creating your fear by using the representational systems. It can be using AD, (&#8220;swimming is scary&#8221;) and then using VC to imagine yourself drowning.
<p> by understanding your process you can change it. If you don&#8217;t exactly know your process a friend can help you by asking questions about your experience and looking at your eyes.

<span class="dropcap3">4</span><strong>Understand the law of opposite result.</strong> If you&#8217;ll go to sleep and can&#8217;t sleep what will you do? You&#8217;ll try to fall asleep but every effort you&#8217;ll make will result in just the opposite. Sleep is relaxation, you can&#8217;t will it to happen and the more you&#8217;ll try the more detrimental it will be. <strong>The only way to fall asleep is to do nothing.</strong>
<p> This happens in many areas. If you try to remember a name or a face and you feel that it&#8217;s on the tip of your tongue, the more you&#8217;ll try to remember, it won&#8217;t come. Usually you&#8217;ll do something else and suddenly it will come. <strong>You can&#8217;t force anything related to your subconscious.</strong>
<p>If you want to fall asleep you can say to yourself that even if you won&#8217;t, it will still be ok and just lying in bed will help you refresh. Meditation is also a form of relaxation, you can&#8217;t force it. When you meditate don&#8217;t try to do something, simply relax and breath deeply.

<span class="dropcap3">5</span><strong>Don&#8217;t try to change others.</strong> Bayazid al-Bestami a Sufi mystic wrote in his autobiography:&#8221;when I was young I asked god to give me strength so I can change the world. I was a revolutionist and I wanted to change the world.

When I got older I started praying: It seems too much. my life are slipping through my fingers- nearly half of my life has passed and I haven&#8217;t changed even one person. maybe the whole world is too much. I said to god my family is enough let me change my family.
<p>
As I got older I understood that even my family is too much, and who am I to change them? I understood that if I&#8217;ll change myself it&#8217;ll be enough. I&#8217;ve prayed to god now I&#8217;ve come to the right conclusion. At least let me change myself.
<p>
God replied: now there is no time. You should have asked that at the beginning.&#8221;
<p> Everyone understand that in the end. It&#8217;s important to understand that in the beginning. Even changing yourself isn&#8217;t easy, there is a whole world inside you. <strong>When you&#8217;ll change yourself you&#8217;ll see that everyone and everything else changed. </strong></p>
