It’s OK To Be Rich - Get Wealthier Beyond Your Wildest Dreams

money treeWhy are some people rich while others can’t even sustain themselves? What is the key factor that determines who will be wealthy and who is destined to be poor?

The answer lies in the reason, more specifically the reason that drives the person to wealth. For instance if I want to have more money because it will be more fun that way and my friend wants to have more money because she can’t live anymore with her parents and her brother in a two bedroom apartment and she wants to buy herself a new apartment, who do you think will become richer faster? That’s right it would be my friend because her reason is stronger.

So often if you ask someone do you want to be rich? He will answer yes, however he means that it would be nice if he will somehow become rich without lifting a finger. Some people mistakenly understand the secret as something merely spiritual; hence they don’t need to do anything besides visualizing a lot of money and feeling good about it. The truth is that it’s only the beginning and it’s something that will accelerate your success yet it won’t help if it’s the only thing you do.

Some people have conflicting beliefs. On the one hand they want more money but on the other hand they have beliefs like: money is the root of all evil, money doesn’t grow on trees or rich people are greedy and miserly. The universe wants to help you. It wants to give you what you want for yourself, but if you keep changing your mind about what you want the universe can’t help you.

Another impediment to success is bad habits. So often we know what to do yet we choose not to do it (not choosing is a choice). A good coach can help. Someone that will drive you forward, someone experienced that won’t let you loiter.

There are a few steps to achieve financial success:
The first thing to do is to write down all of your reasons for wanting more money. Make them as compelling as you can. Take the time and really think why do you want to be rich? When the reason is strong enough all the obstacles will disappear. Write all the negative reasons too, e.g if I don’t get rich then… Write how it will affect all aspects of your life.

After that write money on a piece of paper and write all of your associations to the word money. Write whatever comes to mind without lifting the pen for at least a minute. That exercise should reveal all your negative and positive beliefs regarding money. After you know your beliefs there are a few ways of changing them.

There are limited ways of making money: the stock market, business, real estate, the internet and very rarely working for someone else maybe as a CEO. Choose an area or a few of them that seem interesting to you and study them. The best source is a mentor but if you don’t know one there are a lot of alternative ways: books, seminars, friends, financial magazines etc.

Make a plan and follow it. Make sure you do something each day.

Money is an energy and it flows to people that appreciate it. Be thankful for the money you have because there are people that live on a dollar a day. Remember it’s OK to be rich it’s what you do with the money that counts.

Money is always present in your life in direct proportion to the amount of self acceptance and love. That is a universal law.

Here is another great EFT video to achieve financial success.

Self Acceptance and The Art of Loving Yourself - The Sequel

loveIn my previous post about this subject I wrote about self acceptance and loving yourself. In this post I want to elaborate and tell you an interesting allegory I recently read.

One man was so troubled by the look of his shadow and felt so detested by his footprints and steps, that he decided to get rid of them. He decided to run away from them. He stood up on his feet and started running, But every time he laid another step on the ground, another step was created, and his shadow caught up with him without any trouble.

He decided that the shadow caught him because he didn’t run fast enough. He hasten his steps, and ran faster and faster, without stopping, until eventually he dropped down and died.

he didn’t understand that if he would just stand under the shadow of a tree, His shadow would disappear, and if he just sat quietly ,then there wont be more steps.

Most of us act a lot like this man. we try to run away from our shadows.
The shadow in this allegory is anything you don’t like about yourself, may it be your anger, grief, fear, greed or even physical attributes like your nose. When you’re alive you cast a shadow there is no other option. However the shadow isn’t real, It cant live on it’s own it’s there because some of the sun beams that hit you are blocked and can’t pass through.

People create their confusion by creating an ideal. They are trying to reach an ideal and Because of it they condemn themselves for not being the way they “should”. When you compare yourself to your ideal you feel like something is missing.

How can you be happy if you have so many things that need to happen before you can feel happy. Have you ever noticed that it’s enough for one little thing to go wrong and you can feel bad? Why not reverse it. Make yourself a lot of conditions that need to occur before you can feel sad and feel happy because of the smallest things.

When you think “if only this will happen then I will be happy” you’re putting a barrier between yourself and happiness because even if it will happen there will always be something else.

Once you agree that anger or fear or “bad” thoughts will reside in you, you will be on the right path to self acceptance. It’s similar to a situation where your house is full of darkness and you say that the darkness needs to go away before you hit the light switch. The darkness is simply the absence of light it isn’t real and when you will turn on the light it will go away. Fear ,anger etc are not real they are the absence of a happy and fulfilled life. It is because you can’t have fun that you’re angry other people are only an excuse.

God has created you and you condemn yourself? You are basically saying that god is wrong and everything should be according to what you say. You can’t be smarter than god nor can you change what he created. The paradox is that once you accept yourself you and everyone around you will be different and life will become easier.

The man in the story tried to escape from his shadow, and that’s how most of us act. When we feel anger we say to ourselves don’t feel like that because “it’s not good” or someone said it’s bad. By doing so you’re stifling your anger and with time it becomes rage. Then your anger will permeate your thoughts and your body.

Once you see that you are still angry you say to yourself I haven’t stifled enough I should do it more even though it’s the reason for the rage in the first place. When you fight with yourself you always need to be on the guard because if you let go maybe your anger will resurface.

Where ever you will run your shadow will catch up, running isn’t the answer. Sitting under the shadow of a tree is. The shadow is peace and quiet. When you close your eyes the rays of the sun can’t penetrate and you can meditate to achieve your peace. The answer is within not in the world around you.

If you fight something you’re making it important. You’re focusing on it and it effects you. If you fight with the thoughts you have to use arguments. you’re trying to convince your mind. Just let go. When you clean your room there is no argument, You’re not saying to the room now I will clean you because you’re messy. You simply do it because it’s messy.

Here is another great video about self acceptance and loving yourself.

The Complete Guide to Problem Solving - Make your life easier

rubik cubeWe all have problems. A problem is the difference between the present situation and the desired one. From now on I will use the word challenge instead of the word problem. Because a problem is really a challenge waiting to be accomplished. It all depends on the point of view.

In order to accomplish any challenge the first thing you need to do is to decide what will be your attitude towards the challenge. There are really only three choices.

The first choice is deciding that you’re a victim. This attitude means that there is nothing you can do, someone or the universe has done something to you and you’re an unfortunate person. The only thing you can probably do is to share your situation with others so that they can pity you. In addition some people mistaken the pity for love. Often these people get sick so that they can say to others how unfortunate they are and receive pity. Also some people make a habit of sharing their misfortune because “misery loves company” and thus they create more of it.

The second choice is to ignore the challenge, Bury the head in sand like an ostrich and hope that the challenge will go away. The problem with that choice is that if you don’t have a challenge then you can’t achieve it. Moreover some challenges get worse as the time goes by. They become harder to accomplish.

The third choice is to decide that you are going to accomplish the challenge no matter what. This post is really about the third choice.

Usually our decision is automatic. We don’t stop to think what is our attitude, though we should.

What would you do if you needed to arrive at a certain place and and at a certain time for a job interview in a place you’re not familiar with? you would probably ask someone for directions or look it up in a map. In much the same way the first step to any challenge is gathering information. So often people worry and therefore they don’t know how to accomplish the challenge simply because they don’t have all the information needed.

The second step is to break the challenge into a few smaller challenges. Many challenges seem overwhelming but by breaking them down into smaller pieces and complete them we are able to accomplish the bigger challenge.

The next step is deciding on a plan. A plan is an outline of how you’re going to achieve the challenge. When you have a plan you know what to do in every situation. You don’t have conflicts. It’s best to write it down. There was a study done about making a plan. Students were asked whether they had a plan for after graduation. Only about 3 percent had a plan. Guess what, after a few years those 3 percent were worth financially more than the other 97 percent combined.

After you have a plan start executing it. Do whatever it takes as long as you don’t hurt others in the process.

Fail. Yes you heard it right I said fail. Of course if you are able it’s best not to fail but most of the time people fail. When you fail you learn something and unless you start fearing failure it actually helps you. What do you learn when you are successful? Absolutely nothing you’re simply using what you already know.

All the really successful people failed a lot in their lives. When Tomas Edison was asked how he dealt with thousands of failures in attempt of inventing the light bulb, he replied “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work”.

So after failing change your approach try something else. As Albert Einstein said the “the definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Often people think that if they failed they should try harder. But the truth is if it didn’t work the first time and nothing is changed there is no reason for it to work the second time.

In order to achieve anything of value you have to be determined. Determination means that you never stop wanting it and you keep going in spite of all the difficulties.

If you will follow these instructions there is no doubt in my mind that you will achieve success.

The truth is I haven’t been completely honest. There is a a shortcut. Find a mentor. Find someone that achieved what you’re trying to achieve and ask him how he did it. This will make your quest for solving the problem much faster.
